Our Story
We have known each other since before we could walk... well, before I (Juan) could. Our parents have been close friends for as long as we can remember, which meant that we were basically wedding-bound from birth (but no one knew it yet).
We first fell in love at fifteen or sixteen and, in classic teenage fashion, said absolutely nothing to each other. Eight years later, with vastly different childhoods and unique experiences, but a shared faith in God, we found each other again, right before the World Youth Day in Portugal, 2023. Turns out God always had a different plan.
That encounter turned into three years of discerning whether we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together, and we DO. These last three years have been filled with good times, lots of laughter, and a few tests along the way. God has helped us to slowly build a stronger love for Him and each other, and in a few months we will get to experience a deeper love as husband and wife.
